It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest website. After having been involved with the Miss Mansfield pageant for the last eighteen years, as a past winner and back stage co-ordinator. I was last year given the opportunity to take on the role of show organiser.

I am passionate about the future of the competition and to see the fabulous grand finial take place at the Palace Theatre last September was an extremely proud night for me.

I have some wonderful plans for the future of the pageant and will be working hard over the next few years to raise the profile of the pageant. As the Miss Mansfield is a non profit making event and purely a labour of love for me but one I enjoy immensely.

 Some of my future ambitions:

• Become an official licence holder for the Miss England pageant.
• Become involved on all aspects of charity work as each year the winner will have her own chosen charity.
• To help promote small businesses in Mansfield, Ashfield and Bolsover.
• To have a future Miss England winner.

• To rebuild the links with Mansfield Ohio through the sister cities program.
